These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of OwnTheSite and the website-building and hosting services we provide (the "Services"). Please read them carefully.
OwnTheSite is a trading name of Lucro Limited, a private company limited by shares registered in the Republic of Ireland (CRO 811725) with its registered office in Co. Kildare, Ireland. In these Terms, "OwnTheSite," "we," "our," and "us" refer to Lucro Limited. By using the Services you enter into a binding agreement with Lucro Limited.
OwnTheSite provides hosted websites and a content management system for small businesses. We build, host, and maintain your website for the fees agreed with you. Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing are as set out in the proposal or order confirmation provided to you.
You retain ownership of the content you provide. You grant us a licence to host, display, and process that content as needed to provide the Services. The OwnTheSite platform, software, and underlying templates remain the property of Lucro Limited and may not be copied or resold without our written consent.
Fees for the Services are as agreed in writing. Unless otherwise stated, fees are due in advance and are non-refundable once work has commenced or hosting has been provided for the relevant period. We may suspend Services for non-payment after reasonable notice.
We aim to keep hosted websites available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party provider outages, or events beyond our reasonable control may cause temporary downtime.
Either party may terminate the Services in accordance with the agreed terms. On termination we will, on request and where technically feasible, provide a reasonable export of your content. We may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are breached.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lucro Limited will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms. For EU consumers, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights available in your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date, and material changes will be notified to you where appropriate.
